This is meant primarily as a fairly closed repository of information. It is fully expected that this wiki will have very low rate of edits, therefore mistakes or non-sense or spam will take a long time to notice and be fixed. As such, account creation is disabled currently. So think of this more as a personal dumping ground of information of several people, such as a blog, where others can gain information if they wish but cannot add information themselves.
So it may seem strange that a wiki is being used at all, since this isn't open to random edits. But the wiki software provides easy edit, access, and versioning. This is a great tool, even for a fairly closed library of information.
That being said, this information can be useful to others and so public read access is enabled. And since correcting mistakes (or confusion) is useful, creation and edit of talk pages is enabled as well. If you'd like to point out something, please feel free to do it there. For now though, creating and editting main content is restricted.
