Out of curiosity, I decided to see what IR signals were transmitted from super scope gun to snes, via means of a home built IR pickup device. ( http://www.compendiumarcana.com/irwidget/ )
Here is what I have found.
The signal follows the basic format. (Units in microseconds, IR carrier frequency is 12.2Khz)
Leader
- 580 on
- 620 off
- 580 fire button
- 620 off
- 580 turbo option
- 680 off
- 580 cursor button
- 680 off
- 580 on
- 680 off
Data packet
- Repeat 25 times
- 3120 off
- 80 data bit transmitted.
Trailer
- 14000 off.
If ((NOT fire button) AND (NOT turbo option) AND (NOT cursor button)) then the pause button has been pressed.
